I hear others are copying this I say before, about misunderstanding of "noble lie" idea by public authorities. This concept was supposed to refer to certain methods of founders of states and religions, like Lycurgus. Not short-term policies by guy who runs post office, etc.
"We were always at war with Eurasia"--this is what frogs & others were getting excoriated for saying 2 weeks ago; now is official govt position. "Noble lie" attitude of govt-media complex is from people who think themselves much smarter than average, for which there's no evidence

Glenn like many leftoids tries to sneak in this "conservative" bit to make you think Doria and Bolsonaro are on same side. Doria is conservative in the same way McCain was, and is an opponent of Bolsonaro especially on this matter. Bolsonaro tried to stop lockdowns.
The conservative Governor of São Paulo, @jdoriajr, home to the hemisphere's largest city, has imposed strict lockdowns, including stricter ones recently, demanding everyone stay home.
