Moldbug is wrong to read America now like 1970's-80's East Bloc. To be fair, he does say that there are more true believers in the USA now than there were e.g. in Czechoslovakia in the early 80's, but he still thinks it's a rotting revolutionary regime that you can just wait out

The problem with "wait it out" you see from Soviet or East Euro examples; it can take 70 years and do enormous damage...so the question of whether it's 1982 or 1950 Czech makes a big difference. It's also not true that East Euros simply waited out the fall of communism...

There were revolts in Hungary in 1956 and Czechoslovakia 1968; these did great damage to regime power. It was agreed after the latter that there would not be further Soviet military invasions of Warsaw pact countries. Pressure from Polish freedom movement was enormous...

Without the long-term rebellious fervor of the Catholic/Visegrad countries the Warsaw Pact commie regimes wouldn't have fallen, at least not when they did. It's just not true that being a dissident in those nations helped the regime, but the opposite....

The second and closely related disagreement is this: Moldbug believes it is Trump that is the cause of the current left hysteria. I think they were planning to do this under Hillary. Unlike Moldbug (and many of you) I believe Trump actually stopped or delayed great disasters....

Greatest potential disaster: busting open of America's borders and flooding it with 100 million+ within a year or two, which is what Hillary (and Jeb) said she was planning to do, and what they will 100% do if Biden wins. Unlike Czech communism, there's no coming back from that.

The second disaster is the beginning of wars: Trump only president since when not to start new war? But Hillary or Biden would start war, at the very least over Syria, but probably with Russia (and probably by mistake). This disaster must be prevented at all costs

If Hillary had won, there would already be 100 million+ extra huemans inside USA by now, and certainly a new war, possibly with Russia. Unlike Moldbug I believe what you're seeing now, the hysteria, was going to happen under Hillary, but much worse...

The last is a key point: it's part of long-term plan to "fundamentally transform" America, destroy all traces of its past, federalize police/deputize militias, ending in the mass physical dispossession of the white middle class. What's happening now is not in response to Trump...

Rather Trump is delaying and putting (for now inadequate) breaks of plans the Cartel already had, and which they would have done already with Hillary under cover of war with Russia or fake "right wing turr" rather than Wuhanflu and Pink Floyd...

So what you're seeing now in the astroturf DNC-Biden 2020 riots is a watered-down version of something they've been planning under a Hillary (or whoever) admin, but repurposed for election year disruption. Reminder it started at end of Oboma years, not with Trump...

Regardless...whatever the origin of these riots, it's too risky to be complacent and think that a Biden win would lessen their resolve. They have plenty of enemies aside from Trump to target, plenty of stores of anger, hysteria, and they will be coming for us...
