Ulyssespoaster is misrepresenting...there are unusual usages in poetry that don't have to do with emotional connotation but to esoteric allusions...sometimes extreme metaphors like you find in Bible too...also see Japanese with "polite" and "vulgar" words for e.g. green, etc. etc

I know some grek and say that it refers to hue and to other things as well...but in poetry though...like when Bible uses extreme metaphors too that may come off as psychedelic to us...but I do think they refer to hue primarily. And Nietzsche meant Aryan by blond beast btw
