Not surprised "libertarian" Justin Amash sides with security state. All doctrinaire "ideas" politicians are assets: him, Ben Sasse (look into background), AOC, etc. The prefab and fake world of "ideas" in politics is playground for this manipulation

This is one reason you should be wary of allowing assets to fester in your social circles or "intellectual networks": they are there to support security state at certain moments. They are likely to parrot cookiecutter/orthodox talking points to gain trust (e.g. Douthat, Vermeule)
