We're not talking about others paying. The bank took a risk in making such a loan. If you can't repay they need to take a loss. Right now you're asking for govt. interference to eliminate risk in lending for creditors (the current arrangement). That's not capitalism...

the agreement for unsecured debt w 18 yr old with a theoretical claim to future earnings/income is insane and any creditor who does this shouldn't expect to get paid back. In real capitalist economy he wouldn't and responsible lenders wouldn't make such loans.
