I'm for #PositiveEugenics and not negative for a few reasons. First because it's easier to promote for the people: all the bad associations with eugenics come from harsh sterilization (or worse) programs from 20th C ...but this is not the main reason...

In negative eugenics you're penalizing people who express negative traits, but many of these are recessive so it's not a reliable way to cull them. Even worse, this kind of conscious culling assumes you know what you don't. Eliminating some negative traits can have unforeseen bad

For example it would be a disaster if a "gh*ey gene" was discovered...in fact it would be no such thing but would eliminate other things as well...worse still if a "criminality gene" was culled (this could possibly make the rule of the Last Man/NPC permanent)

By contrast, #PositiveEugenics indisputably passes on traits of power to offspring
