it's the oil in the seeds, so the seeds themselves are said to be bad. But do you eat cottonseeds, soybeans, or canola seeds? Corn oil horrible too.
The PUFA is a poison emitted by the plant to protect its seeds.
I would recommend hydrolised collagen over gelatin powder, much easier to use. Also I don't follow the Ray Peat diet but do take many of his suggestions (coconut oil, avoid PUFA, carrot salad, fruit is good, collagen/glycine, a few other things)
I will try dis...the wines I talk about are too expensive for regular drinking imo ...$35 at least for bottle of St. Estephe or Haut-Medoc and often much more. William F Buckley said he refused to pay more than $11/bottle and I think that's a good rule
not sure about palm oil tbh but maybe it's OK. Pretty much any animal fat from NATTY animals is good for cooking...lard, tallow, etc. ...ghee is good but you can make your own, it's too expensive to buy imo. Coconut oil is great
Gongrats to Coric today who, looking especially handsome, defeated the hostile and arrogant Federer in two easy sets at Shanghai. Broatian power he plays Djokovic tomorrow @V4Analysis
Borna Coric, a 21-yr old Broatian tennis player, beat unpleasant assholeface Wawrinka today in Shanghai (@Outsideness in audience). Coric is set to become one of the most handsome tennis stars ever! He must be respect!
pls stay away from seed oils! Mangan is right on this. Ray Peat says almost all diseases of modernity caused by PUFA, not sugar.
Only exceptions are the newer varieties of sunflower oil, which are similar to olive oil in fat profile
