Talmud as well as later commentaries were written entirely in reaction to Christianity, and it--not the Old Testament--is the foundation of modern Judaism. The most advanced research by Jewish scholars in Israel supports this position.

I don't believe they want to genuinely slaughter Christians, but yes that they don't care or even know it will happen

I'm not sure about this...I'm looking into all speculations, but very hard to know anything about that time

the Hyksos are interdasting. They were a Semitic/Aryan confederation of Bronze Age adventurers and conquerors. Definitely men of Bronze Age mindset
Replying to @bronzeagemantis
Also how do you feel about the “Joseph was a Hyksos ruler” argument? Would explain the antipathy to the Children of Israel after the Hyksos were defeated.

What does Nietzsche mean when he refers casually to the "falsification of the history of Israel" by the priestly class?

What did the Maccabees mean by starting the book like this? This is the first indisputable Jewish kingdom in history ...wat means?

It may exist, and there is some archaeological evidence, but I'm not sure it was the religion of the Old Testament or even monotheistic

People may wonder/challenge you btw on stuff like Assad when you troll...why do you support TYRANT? Remind them that without Assad 1 million Christians and Alawites would be massacred This is how they do things: they never think ahead, never have any plans

This historical peculiarity goes far beyond just Christianity ...see the beginning of book of Maccabees (the first really recorded instance of an independent Jewish kingdom)
The amount that Paul and John especially critique the world around them in their letters and revelation especially is very understated without contextual knowledge of the 1st century culture. The number of jabs John takes at the Empire is insane

I was always impressed watching David Koresh talk by the way. The man emanated real charisma on camera. Not surprised he was cult leader
idea that a charismatic spiritual leader would amass following while looking like a goblin is theoretically possible but unlikely.

He also believed it was Providence for Jesus to be born in the time of Augustus...and the most important reason those two are in hell is because they tried to stop the Roman Empire...

Whether you view it this way...the truth is Dante puts Cassius and Brutus in hell because they tried to stop Caesar, and it was Providence for Roman Empire to prosper so Christianity could spread through its power. A believing Christian would say the same for Europe after 1000
Replying to @bronzeagemantis
Christianity was a wildly successful parasite of Roman Empire. Without such a meaty host...
