"Demisexual" originates on a fanfiction/role play forum in 2004, as the made-up identity of a middle schooler's character. On very early Tumblr, 'factualwiley' referenced it *as a joke*, left… came back in 2010 shocked to see legions of proud 'demisexuals'.
